Mr. Wakefield is a hands-on financial professional and executive with 19 years of experience. He has held the position of VP of Finance in several companies and his expertise bridges companies at all stages of maturity from early-stage start-up to high growth, as well as several turn-around situations. Bryan’s recent focus has been towards financial analysis with a proven track record building short and long-range models to project cash and revenue growth.

A highlight of his professional experience was his time at Greensmith Energy Management Systems, Inc. Bryan joined the company at it’s early stages of just $25k in annual revenues, helping to grow it to over $16M in under five years. During his tenure there, he was responsible for finance and accounting operations, corporate governance, risk management, tax compliance, and negotiation of customer/vendor contracts. Ultimately the company experienced a $170M exit.

Bryan continues to hone his skills through additional study and has recently completed the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification. He is currently working towards the Certified Corporate FP&A, Advanced Financial Modeler, and the Certified Treasury Professional designations by the end of 2020. In his free time he likes to spend time outdoors on the water and has traveled the entire 250+ miles of the Chesapeake Bay and circumnavigated the 35+ miles of Manhattan Island by kayak.
